Tool #1: Kahoot
Kahoot allows you to create and share quizzes,\ which can be used in the classroom or for online classes. Kahoot can be used as an app on the phone, which I think makes it easier to be used at any time. Kahoot does offer different versions for a monthly fee, which is reflected in the picture below. One of the biggest differences is the amount of people allowed to participate each game.
Target Class: Civics and Economics
VA SOL: WHI.4 The student will apply social science skills to understand the civilizations of Persia, India, and China in terms of chronology, geography, social structures, government, economy, religion, and contributions to later civilizations

This is a quiz that was pre created and I found it through the discover page.

I would recommend Kahoot to other educators because I think it is easy to use, and would also be fun for students. I like that you can ask open-ended questions, fill in the blank, multiple choice, and true or false.
Tool #2: Quizziz
Quizziz is a platform that can be used as an assessment tool. It allows teachers to create their own quizzes, as well as use other teachers quizzes. One of the best feature is the customization of this platform. Quizziz allows you to choose how much of other teachers work you want to use, so you can use just one question or an entire quiz. You can also customize previous made quizzes and questions as well. Teachers can host live quizzes or set a specific time frame. At the end of each quiz, teachers can review student performance. There is a paid version that offers more benefits than the free.
Target Class: World Geography

I would use this website for future classrooms and I would recommend it for other teachers. I think using the live quiz feature would work best for a summative assessment. However, since it is customizable, I think it could be used for any form of assessment.
